Pół-Grecy
27 stycznia. 10:03. Do studia fotograficznego wchodzą trzy Rzymianki i pięciu Rzymian. W dłoniach trzymają reklamówki z napisem „Kengraf”, pokrowce z ubraniami i wielką, srebrzystą skrzynkę. Drzwi zatrzaskują się.
Parę dni wcześniej byłem na wernisażu „Surrealistycznych tropów”, gdzie pośród kilkudziesięciu rewelacyjnych zdjęć polskich fotografów drugiej połowy XX wieku dostrzegłem tryptyk Jerzego Lewczyńskiego przedstawiający NEGATYW – FOTOGRAFIĘ – WYIDEALIZOWANY OBRAZ jednej kobiety (strona 16). Choć zestawienie stworzono kiedy pan Gates dopiero wymyślał nazwę dla swojego imperium, to jakież – pomyślałem – jest ono aktualne. Przecież gdyby stworzyć współczesny mariaż będzie on wyglądał tak samo: RAW – FOTOGRAFIA – PHOTOSHOP. Zmieniła się tylko technika obrazowania. Ludzki pęd do idealizowania swojej fizyczności pozostał niewzruszony.
Jedynie starożytni Rzymianie zachowali trochę zdrowego rozsądku i swych patrycjuszy, nie mówiąc nawet o chłopcu duszącym gęś, przedstawiali z całą realnością fizjonomii obfitującą w kurzajki, krzywe nosy, opadające powieki, łysiny i wytrzeszcze oczu. Reszta historii należy do chirurgów pędzla z włosia i Photoshopa.
Bo wtedy fotograficzną prawdę cenię ponad wszystko i bliżej mi do reportażysty niż do portrecisty, którym bywam. Odrobina pudru wystarczy.

P.S. Mój kształt nosa nie uległ zmianie, a Roman Zabawa nie nosi Ray Ban’ów. Naprawdę.
